Central Illinois Regional Broadband Network (CIRBN) offers high-speed Internet connectivity to Central Illinois. CIRBN was designed to serve rural communities as well as K-12 school districts, healthcare, public safety, government, not-for-profit, and commercial institutions.
CIRBN replaces outdated technology with state-of-the-art fiber optics to improve quality, reliability, usability, and access for its participants.
CIRBN does not plan to offer service directly to residential customers. However existing service providers may take advantage of the CIRBN network to offer service to residential customers.
Your connection speed will depend upon where you are located. If you are in Atlanta, Bloomington/Normal, Chenoa, Danvers, Downs, El Paso, Eureka, Farmer City, Flanagan, Gridley, LeRoy, Lexington, Mahomet, Mansfield, Minonk, Pontiac, Towanda, Toluca and Wenona, your speed can be up to 10Gb/s (10,000 Mb/s). If you are in Arrowsmith, Colfax, Fairbury, Heyworth, Hudson, Minier and Stanford, your service can be up to 500 Mb/s.
CIRBN does not plan to offer cable TV at this time. We do work with vendors to offer VoIP phone service. Please inquire at 309-820-7321 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can get technical support by calling (309) 820-7321 or emailing support@CIRBN.org.
Whether you chose to call, or email, you will receive an email confirmation regarding the creation of the trouble ticket and the ticket number. You can use this ticket number when communicating with CIRBN staff. Note that organizations requiring immediate attention should call the CIRBN Operations Center directly. Any tickets submitted online or through email will not be considered high priority.
